You all made it clear in yesterday’s poll that steroids shouldn’t have a place in Jiu Jitsu:

I thought Paul’s comparison to cycling was an interesting one. It almost feels like the steroid problem in grappling is insurmountable. But he makes a great point that cycling cleaned up their sport when almost all competitors were cheating in the big events.

THE MAIN EVENT 🚨

Lineage has traditionally been a core part of Jiu Jitsu. Who you got your belts from can tell others a lot about the strength of your grappling, as well as the type of game you’re likely to play.

But with the explosion of Jiu Jitsu in the past ten years, is it as important as it used to be? There was a good discussion about this yesterday on Reddit.

Let’s hear what you think…

Is lineage still important in Jiu Jitsu?
